Ambassador electric lift and recliner chairs are built with only the very best materials, both in the mechanical structure as well as the internal motors, to ensure that they are durable and consistent in their purpose for longer. The lift chairs are available with 1, 2 and 3 motors (dependant on weight category) allowing the consumer the flexibility in a large number of sitting or reclining positions. The chairs structural makeup is of 5mm bolted steel, which is unique in the industry where most steel is 2-3mm and pop riveted. Our Ability to Customise Fabrics, Height, Width, Depths and Cushioning
People come in all kinds of different shapes and sizes and have different comfort needs. At Ambassador Lift chairs we understand this and have the ability and equipment in house to alter our standard chairs to custom specifications to suit individual requirements such as making the chair higher, wider, deeper, softer, as well as additional features and much more. In most cases changes require an extra day or two to make the custom changes and we normally charge at cost for these changes.
A good example is a recent customer had purchased one of our lift chairs called a “Premier A3” but was nowhere near the 250kg weight class. The customer had tested the chair prior to purchasing and found the seat cushion, designed for a 250kg load, too hard for their liking. At a small additional cost we altered the seat cushion to a softer foam and the customer was very satisfied with the result.
This kind of customisation is very important to many of our clients, particularly when they are investing a lot of money in a lift and recline chair, they want to ensure it will be comfortable and suit their individual needs. The general feedback from OT attendees and exhibitors was the same.

All moving joints are fitted with durable and strong Brass Bushes, ensuring that those moving joints will never fail and are easily replaced when they do later in its life.
The steel frame, seat, springs and mechanism are all fitted with steel bolts and nuts, should they need to be replaced. Importantly, the steel plated weaved seating base is bolted in for maximum support to avoid any sagging or deterioration of the seating area.

For patients requiring a more sanitary covering we can custom cover in the Ultra-Thane range of PU fabrics, this unique PVC has increased flexibility and anti-microbial qualities would be ideal in nursing homes and care facilities for improved hygiene and cleaning. We also like the use of quality Australian Leather or customers can have a choice of unlimited Wortley fabrics to suit their home decor. This might be useful for couples where one person requires the A3 (with three motors for up to 250kg) and a smaller person would like a smaller A1 (one motor for a small 80 kg ) and they can get the two chairs in the same fabric to match. This only adds a couple of days to the order.
