Vertical Lift Chair
Looking for a Vertical Lift Chair?
The Vertical Lift Chair is a customised option that is designed to help people with mobility issues to stand up from a seated position or to sit down safely and comfortably.
The usual tilt action when lifting can be modified to go in a straight upright direction, to the height of 82cm. Often used by people with conditions that affect their ability to stand up or sit down, such as arthritis, multiple sclerosis, or Parkinson’s disease. The client can transfer from the chair with their legs/ knees straight.
Ambassador Vertical lift chairs feature a Linak medical-grade motorised mechanism that lifts the seat straight up, instead of the usual tilt forward. Helping the user to stand up or sit down with minimal effort. The Ambassador models also include a footrest that can be raised or lowered to provide additional support and comfort. And an independent backrest.
Furthermore, the chair has a backup battery. An important feature for clients that rely heavily on the lift function for independence and safety.
If you are considering a vertical lift chair, it’s important to carefully evaluate your needs and consider factors such as the level of support and comfort you require, the amount of space you have available, and your budget. It’s also a good idea to consult with a healthcare professional or mobility specialist who can help you choose the right chair for your specific needs.
The Ambassador Vertical Lift Chair
Our range can be customised to lift vertically up to 82cm from the floor. With additional options to increase this for a hoist underneath. Our strong armrest and frame, are another key feature for users. Speak to your local Ambassador retailer to enquire about their range.

Hi Scott,
We’ve got a few options in our chair sizes. I recommend speaking to one of our retailers near you for a price. The vertical option is only a small additional cost to the chair. http://www.ambassadorproducts.com.au/retailers
